“August” is the eighth track on Taylor Swift’s 2020 album ‘Folklore.’ This song has a significant meaning behind it and maybe that’s why I’m so hooked to this song. This song, like many others on the album, is filled with youthful romance and love. This one, on the other hand, narrows things down a little to a specific theme of summer romance. Overall, this song sees the speaker taking a trip down memory lane, remembering fondly about memories of summer love. Despite the fact that the romance did not continue long, it is apparent that the singer treasures and misses the memories of the love.
