A. My future Laptop: Draw the icons of the different platforms and applications that will likely appear on the desktop of your laptop five to 10 years from now. You can draw as many as you want. Then, answer the following questions below:
CHROME, SPOTIFY, NETFLIX, ZOOM (DRAWN MANUALLY)
1.) Why did you choose these online platforms and applications?
Chrome – The most used application on my computer and laptop. This application has all that I need in the next 5-10 years. As I know it will be still relevant and it will be upgraded as time passes.
Spotify – This application is my favorite music app to use. For someone who loves music, Spotify is like my life source.
Netflix – I chose this app because it is the main reason why I and my siblings bond together as we love to watch movies.
Zoom – For someone who is still studying under the online modality, zoom is very important and one of the most used application. As it also helps me communicate with my friends and classmates if there are some school works that is needed to be done
2.) If you were to invent your own online platform or application, what would you name it and what does it do? Give at least one.
If I were to invent my online platform or application, I would call it “E-TV”. It stands for “Educational Television” this app would contain contents that will help students that range from grade school to college. Hence, the app will contain videos. For example, math solving problems.

B. Reflection: Which online platforms or applications is/are most useful to your chosen strand/track? How will these online platforms and applications help you in your chosen career? (at least 100-word essay.)
I utilize a lot of apps in my daily life, just like any other student. It could be for fun or for educational purposes. As a STEM student in my senior year, these applications/online platforms are quite valuable. I solely rely on these particular apps/online platforms: Chrome, Messenger, Facebook, Zoom, Microsoft Word, and Edmodo.
I’m still undecided, but I’m rather certain that I’ll pursue a career in medicine. I believe that these apps and platforms will make it easier for me to work in my chosen profession. Microsoft Word, in particular, includes features that make writing a report paper easier and faster.
